Hi Larry - Long-time fan with almost all of your albums going back to the Gary Burton days (Duster, Lofty Fake Anagram) thru the current stuff. Anyway, please consider Charlotte NC the next time you're touring in the Southeast. I haven't been lucky enough to catch an LC show in several years. Please end my drought! Thanks, Ray

Hi Larry, I bought your last DVD Retrospective. it's so lovely and I appreciate the scenes bonus with the musicians. I live in Lausanne near Montreux (Jazz Festival). Happy 65Th and all good for you and your family.

Hi Larry,
Just checking out some new vidoes that seem to have emerged on youtube, including some new super guitar trio stuff, some acoustic solo performance (amazing) and an interesting bit with you, tal farlow, john ambercrombie, sco and carlton. Rather than play jazz rock, as most seem to have done, you play rock jazz. Pretty cool.
At any rate, for those who have no idea what you are doing, you get to define it. It's your hour, man! You are completely unpredictable!
Keep on rock jazzin!
Daniel

Admin. Do you plan on using the photos I sent around the 17th? I remember on one batch they were too large & I had to resize them. Did you run into the same problem on these?

I would like to echo Mike's remarks about the Fall River concert - great evening, great music, great talking to you guys!
Mike Moran on Monday 24 March 2008 - 17:31:22
Larry:
My hope is that this message reaches you. I wish to thank you for not only the wonderful performance on Friday, but the kindness you extended to me personally at the Narrows Center in Fall River. Having been a fan since, well forever, I was honored to meet you and Tracey and to speak with you about your music -- something that has been a very important part of my life since I was a teen.
You were so generous with your time and attention. Plus, dedicating the evening's performance to my late brother Bill was an added honor I will never forget. And your invitation to chant before the show was also very special.
I hope to see you again when your journey takes you to New England. Peace.

I really enjoyed your performances with your son at the Bamboo Room (Lake Worth ,Florida) and I am hoping you are coming back again soon. Please let me know.
Can someone confirm: Larry Coryell is sitting in with Les Paul tonight at Iridium in NYC? 10 p.m. To you lucky bastards, I hope you go and have stories to share with all of us! Happy trails!
Just finished IMPROVISING, great job Larry ! Been an avid fan since '72. Foreplay at the Twelfth Gate in Atlanta!!! The Firebird Suite at Lawndale Art Annex in Houston!!! With Steve Kahn at Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom!!! On and on, thanks for the memories, it's been a great ride. Just like it takes several decades for the laws to catch up with cultural morality, so it is that sometimes it takes decades for the culture to catch up with an artist. So many extraordinary albums, Offering, Real Great Escape, Spaces, Planet End, The Lion and the Ram, Together, Return, et.al. So much passion for the music ! Such a master of the instrument ! Thanks for all the great music, and may there be many more years to come !
I agree with hikiate Fairyland is an incredible CD. Irecently discovered it, and I have almost all of Mr. Coryells work. Also Bob I second the true blues cd. Also beware of Larry's son Julien has a new power trio CAST, saw them live and they have a great new cd. Julien is carrying on nicely in his dads footsteps.
I just found this site and I'm glad I did! I met Larry at a clinic he did at a MARS music store in Marietta, GA. I bought just about everything he had for sale that day, hahaha. Sadly, I missed the 'Spaces Revisited' gig he did at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta with Lagrene, Bona and Chambers. Is there any live footage of that tour? What I wouldn't give to see that..!!!!
