Sharon and I travel a lot and it is nice to know weeks or months in advance where LC might be playing so we can include his gigs in our plans. Please consider doing so. Thanks

I'm certain you can visit MI. You can even get a day pass to take some classes and see how it's run. at that time, you can probably create an opportunity to see the various coryell videos in the library (few, though great). Look me up when you get to town.

that song is "the great escape." "the real great escape" in in the encoore section of the second disc. according to the book, "great escape" was mistitled, so Larry callled the song "great escape" "The Real Great Escape" iin order to clarify the song's title.

there's a great 3-hour video of Larry's October 2006 gig in Cincy at jazzincincy.com. When you can'tt get outt tto see Larry play, you can listen and/or watch from home. Just $5 to see it, and if the system doesn't quite seem to work, Walter will help you out. Great program.

I had seen a review of the French LP "Larry Coryell's Eleventh House Live In Europe" on this site. I assume this is not a sanctioned release (ie a bootleg). I actually have a copy of this album, and I'd like to post it freely to the Dime trading community. Assuming this is in order, I would need to know if anyone has an exact date and location as to where this album was recorded. Thanks.

groovehigh, you got to take classes at musicians institute in los angeles or visit the library there. no release date yet known. since the video is warped and incomplete, I doubt it wil ever be seen outside the school. Larry's story was a 1 day read. Agree about the half-deafness. never would've guessed or imagined that.
